The Ashley Garrett Memorial Children’s Art Festival is a family event designed for kids to let their creative sides loose. At the event, kids enjoy free arts and crafts activities, music, food, a bounce house, face painting and more. Each child will receive a book from the library’s summer reading program and a ticket for free hot dog, chips and a soda. Area families are invited to attend for free. The event is organized by the Callaway Arts Council, Auxvasse Creative Arts Program, Callaway County Public Library, Central Missouri Community Action and others.
